It's weird to have momentum and steady growth while you feel the world is falling apart around you.
This last half of the year has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I'm grateful for the support from YOU that kept me so busy that I nearly didn't even experienced fall and late summer.
I sent artwork to new homes around the world, was recently featured in one of my favorite magazines, and the highest compliment -- I think my dad might have come around to thinking this art life is not as horrible of an idea after all. (Can I add that to my CV?)
This was an odd year, and I'm tired. I'm ready to let it go.
2018 is going to be quiet. I think. I'm going to say, "No" a bit more.
I have a show coming up in the Spring with two friends and fellow artists, and I'm hoping to travel, experiment and push myself a bit out of my comfort zone. I want to build upon what I'm making and see whatever else is out there for me.
The last three prints of 2017 are below. And the first edition of 2018 is coming shortly after the turn of the new year.
See you on the other side.
